Every horror fan has at least one movie they have hazy memories of, but can’t remember the title. I have had several over the years, but I eventually managed to use Google-Fu to identify all but one of them. Every possible attempt I’ve made to identify it has failed, so I hope you can help me.
I saw the film in question back in the late 80’s or early 90’s and seemed to be a recently made movie to my (then) young eyes. It was about a vampire (possibly Dracula) who had kidnapped the main protagonist’s girlfriend. Said protagonist had recruited a somewhat older, heavyset woman (possibly a nurse) to aid in the rescue attempt. The girlfriend was rescued while the woman danced with the vampire, who commented that she would make a great monster. The vampire’s lair might have exploded later, but I’m not 100% sure on that.
Does anyone out there know what film (or episode of a horror anthology series) I’m talking about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
